Community MAR provides Renewed Computer Technology (RCT) with crucial resources
to support RCT's goals of empowering learners, educators and youth to
participate and compete in the global knowledge-based economy. Community MAR
strives and is committed to meeting the goals of its partners.
Shauna L. McCaffrey, Renewed Computer Technology, Canada
We are really satisfied with MAR program and glad that it exists. The Community
MAR program helps us to sell refurbished computers to education and charity
customers who are very interested in low cost computers, but also want legal
software.

Colombia's Computadores para Educar is narrowing the digital
divide, bringing information and communication technologies into
Education. Toward this goal, the organization values strategic
alliances -- notably Microsoft's support through its Community MAR
program. It has supported growth in both extent and impact
nationally, through distribution of some 92.000 computers to over
8.500 public schools by November, 2007. Martha Patricia

Applying to become a Community MAR
When you qualify for the Community MAR programme, you are
joining a global network of Community MARs. Your business benefits from its
association with Microsoft and the marketing activities that support the
programme (such as the Community MAR Directory). The organisations and
communities you serve through the programme benefit from receiving
professionally-refurbished computers equipped with legally-installed Microsoft
operating systems and software.
To become a Community MAR you must meet the terms and conditions of
the Community MAR License Agreement. You must continue to meet these terms
and conditions while participating in the programme.
